The health and education authorities will begin today the day of vaccination to inoculate a population of children between the ages of five and 11 against covid-19.
The total population called to get vaccinated is 1,387,000 minors in that age range.
The first stage of the journey is to collect informed consent from the parents.
A minor who does not have parental consent cannot be inoculated, since it is a free decision, authorities have said.
The vaccination to minors will be done in schools and colleges. Teachers and administrative staff will also be vaccinated.
