Authorities attend contingency in Petare after landslide due to rains this Sunday

The mayor of the municipality of Sucre of the state of Miranda and Civil protection (pc), were deployed to attend to the contingency due to the collapse of a house in the Guaicaipuro neighborhood, Maca-Petare, reported the mayor, Jose Vicente Rangel.

According to the municipal authority, this Sunday the multi-family home collapsed, a situation that affects another 10 homes and 22 families in this popular area of ​​Greater Caracas.

“We are together with the Civil Protection team carrying out an inspection on Guzmán Blanco street, Guaicaipuro neighborhood, Maca-Petare, where a multi-family home collapsed this Sunday night, a situation that affects 10 other homes and 22 families,” Rangel wrote. on your social media account.

He stressed that they are holding conversations with those affected and evaluating the damage caused, to take the necessary actions and guarantee timely help.

The rains of recent weeks have affected several areas of Greater Caracas.

The Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballospointed out that they are monitoring the rains throughout the national territory and distributing the necessary material.
