Attorney General: Venezuela was subjected to a disastrous psychological operation

Prosecutor responds to Argentine Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, informed national and international public opinion that Venezuela was subjected to a “disastrous psychological operation” to unleash acts of violence on the eve of the presidential inauguration by President Nicolás Maduro.

In a message posted on his Instagram account, Saab pointed out that the extremist opponent María Corina Machado is subject to a criminal investigation for her actions during the violent acts after the presidential elections on July 28, which would be classified as crimes of Treason. to the country, Conspiracy with foreign countries and Association to commit a crime.

In addition, he asserted that Machado carried out a “mediocre false flag operation” this Thursday that could be considered a simulation of a punishable act.

Below is the full statement:

As Attorney General of the Republic I am obliged to inform the country and the world that today an attempt has been made to develop a disastrous psychological operation to unleash acts of violence at a time when the country is preparing for the inauguration of the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the period 2025-2031.

We must point out that María Corina Machado is subject to a criminal investigation for actions committed after the presidential elections of July 28: for the crimes of Treason, Conspiracy with foreign countries and Association to commit a crime; Consequently, if within the framework of these investigations an arrest warrant were processed, it would be subject to the guarantees provided by our legal system.

In this context, today a mediocre false flag operation was carried out, which due to its very feature and quality could be considered a simulation of a punishable act, by falsely reporting from a platform that responds to stateless interests, that María Corina Machado “had been intercepted and detained.”

This lady is a repeat offender in this type of theater that seeks to victimize her when her macabre intentions fail. It is notable that on July 18 of last year, during the election campaign, he reported an attack on his caravan while he was sleeping, without anyone in his entourage noticing. Likewise, in 2011, as a pre-candidate, she could be heard in an audio recording informing her mother that news of a car attack against her was going to spread, so she should not worry.

His exacerbated social narcissism to attract attention is indicative that he suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

The leaders of the extreme right in various parts of the world have automatically joined in this new simulation, which indicates premeditation and coordination at an international level in such sinister actions. However, they have once again made a fool of themselves by spreading new infamy.

With this staging, the attempt has been made to sow chaos and violence in the Nation, as well as to divert attention from the resounding failure that resulted from today’s call for this minority radical sector.

With this they have sought to muddy – without success – a day of joy for the Venezuelan people, such as tomorrow, January 10, which they have not achieved and will never achieve.

The institutions of the State, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the people of Venezuela are committed to peace until they achieve great victories day by day to fulfill the destiny of Glory that our Liberators entrusted us to achieve.

Caracas, January 9, 2025.
