Attorney General and CNA will talk about the process of selecting magistrates of the CSJ


In this approach, the call for the main magistrate and his substitute of the Second Criminal Chamber will be addressed, positions that are currently held by magistrate Ayú Prado and his substitute Asunción María Alonso Mojica.

This May 4, the State Commission for Justice of the Administration Attorney’s Office will meet with members of the National Bar Association (CNA) to address the selection of the new magistrates of the Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

The Attorney for the Administration, Rigoberto González, sent a note of invitation to the president of the CNA, Juan Carlos Araúz, to participate in this meeting, which will take place at the Training and Research Center of the Attorney for the Administration, Alma Montenegro de Fletcher, at 8:00 in the morning.

In this approach, the call for the main magistrate and his substitute of the Second Criminal Chamber will be addressed, positions that are currently held by magistrate Ayú Prado and his substitute Asuncion Maria Alonso Mojica.

The call will take place due to the fact that on December 31 the constitutional period of 10 years that they can exercise within these positions in the CSJ ends.
