This Monday, 28 students of the Juan Germán Roscio Educational Complex, Trujillo State, presented signs of headache, abdominal pain and loss of knowledge, product of an alleged poisoning due to unknown substance.
According to the information published by the Trujillana Health Foundation (Casesalud), the students were admitted to the Doctor Pedro Emilio Carrillo University Hospital in the city of Valera.
“Thanks to the appropriate actions in pediatric emergency care, 28 minors were assisted immediately and satisfactorily, who entered the University Hospital“ Dr. Pedro Emilio Carrillo ”from the city of Valera,” said @Fundasaludtru.
The director of the Hospital Center, Germán Serrano, said that minors were referred to the Los Bambú Popular Office, located in the La Floresta sector, “for presenting poisoning for unknown substance causing a symptomatology such as headache, abdominal pain and loss of knowledge , for this reason they were given timely attention, ”said the Instagram social network publication.
Serrano said that affected students received the protocol for the case and medical treatment with due surveillance and the respective discharge.
It was known that a teacher was also affected in the event, who was treated in a timely manner in the hospital’s adult emergency area.
