With the triumph at home, the Soberanas maintained 100% success in the competition, reaching the same six points as Palmeiras and Flamengo, but occupying 3rd place. The Women of Steel remain without points, in 17th place.
São Paulo made it worth playing at home to open the scoring early. In the 13th minute of the first half, center forward Crivelari took advantage of the bounce and rebound in the area to shoot well and beat goalkeeper Yanne.
At a disadvantage, Bahia began to force more attacking moves. And the insistence of the Women of Steel was rewarded in the 24th minute. After a good play on the right wing, full-back Dan crossed into the small area, where Cássia had plenty of freedom to finish first time into the goal defended by Carlinha.
The match remained open, with opportunities being created from side to side. But, after the break, São Paulo counted on Gadu’s eye for goal to guarantee the victory. In the ninth minute, the Soberanas center forward received the ball in the middle, managed to advance amid markings from two opponents and had the nerve to hit goalkeeper Yanne’s exit to give the scorer final numbers.
