This Wednesday, Cristina Kirchner He requested, through his lawyers, the arrest of Jonathan Morel, Gastón Guerra and Leonardo Sosa, members of the Federal Revolution group, since they would be linked to the attack on the president.
However, the court rejected the request for the vice president and the referents of the group will not be detained. Who refused the request Cristina Kirchner It was the federal judge Marcelo Martínez De Giorgi.
The judge also withdrew from the search that was to be carried out in the department of Ximena De Tezanos Pintoneighbor of Cristina Kirchner in Recoleta; However, he arranged to investigate De Tezanos’s social networks.
Martínez de Giorgi did not give rise to the request and resolved: “Regarding the arrest requests of Jonathan Morel, Gastón Guerra and Leonardo Sosa, whose ambulatory freedom has already been decided by the Chamber of Law and without noticing the modification of his procedural behavior in a sense that alters the foundations of the Superior, there is no place”.
Although the leaders of the Federal Revolution in the past were detained for alleged threats and violent messages against the vice president and other cabinet officials, the court assured that the members of the group would not be linked to the attack on the vice president.
However, the president maintains that the members of the group are the masterminds of the attack she suffered last September, based on the complaint made about the threatening messages against the official.
In this sense, the magistrate decided to reject the arrest request, not finding a direct link between the referents of the Federal Revolution and Fernando Sabag Montiel.
The judge’s recommendation
Although the request for the arrest of the vice president was rejected, The magistrate recommended that the complaint represented by the lawyers José Ubeira and Marcos Aldazábal formulate said request, if necessary, before Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, who is conducting the investigation of the attack.
In this sense, it will be Capuchetti who will determine if the arrests are pertinent or necessary to advance with the investigation.
