Zanabria explained, during an interview with Canal N, that, initially, Jimmy Bazán was held in a prison in La Libertad, however, he was transferred to one in Cajamarca to prevent him from continuing to play an important role in the gang to which he was accused. belonged.
Even so, according to the PNP commander, Bazán constantly threatened the prosecutor of the Trujillo Public Ministry for investigating criminal acts committed by “The Compadres.”
“This person was removed from the Trujillo prison some time ago and transferred to Cajamarca precisely because of his connection with these criminal organizations. Today the High Complexity Crime Investigation Directorate determined his connection to the threats to the Trujillo prosecutor, which is why which his cell was raided,” said Zanabria.
