The road that connects Bogotá with the Caribbean Coast remains closed, after around 4:30 in the morning of this Wednesday a detonation was registered on the La Tijera bridge, located 4 kilometers from the municipality of Pailitas in the department of Cesar.
The authorities indicated that the explosive charge affected the road network that connects the Caribbean region with the interior of the country, for which they enabled an alternate route for the flow of vehicles. In addition, they mentioned that no injuries were reported.

“We are already coordinating a counterflow to have an alternate route and immediately guarantee the passage of vehicles”, spointed out the operational commander of the Cesar Police, Lieutenant Colonel Elkin Corredor.
