Judith Pena | February 8, 2023

The Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) published the list of people who benefited from the 70 kiosks for the sale of food and drinks on the Panama Carnival 2023 route.

According to the entity, these merchants were exempted from paying 250 dollars, as part of the ATP’s commitment to help the economic reactivation of this informal sector of the country. In addition to this, they promised to install electricity in each of the posts.

The Meritorious Fire Department of the Republic of Panama also announced that merchants are exempted from paying 50 dollars.

This year the ATP registered to obtain the sales positions in person, however, for next year it will be done virtually to avoid lines in this process.
