He points out that it was at that moment, when “it became clear” that it was something against him. «What made me different from the group that just entered? That I am dark-skinned… You don’t let me in because of my color, right? To which he replied “And for being ugly,” she said.
Bell Santana details that one of the friends who was inside the restaurant noticed the situation and wanted to serve as an intermediary, but another of the employees replied that “only fine people are accepted” in that place.

Habanero Restaurant apologizes
After the complaint, the Habanero Restaurant issued a statement where he apologizes to both the athlete and the general public.
