The Instructor Section of the Chamber of Deputies will address in the next session the second request for lawlessness against the national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, presented by the Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Campeche. On this occasion, the signal is for alleged peculation during his term as governor (2015-2019).
Sources of the Instructor Section anticipated that the file with the prosecution accusations will be received on Wednesday in the General Secretariat to ratify the complaint. From that moment on, it will be determined whether it is the imputation of a new crime – considerating the probable prescription of the illicit enrichment – or if the charges accumulate.
On Friday, the instructor section will receive the second file. For now, this request adds to that submitted in August 2022 by the then State Prosecutor, Renato Sales Heredia, for alleged illicit enrichment, investigation that included the review of its properties in Campeche, as well as in Polanco and forests of Las Lomas, in Mexico City, including a climate room for their watches.
During the last legislature, the application did not advance due to administrative crossbards derived from the draw in votes between the members of Morena and those of PRI-PAN in the Instructor Section. On this occasion Morena and the PVEM have three votes and the bread with one.
