At least two people died and several were injured in a traffic accident occurred on a section of the National Highway in the province of Cienfuegos.
The unfortunate event occurred this Sunday at kilometer 188 of the Highway, near Aguada de Pasajeros, according to information released on social networks.
According to these sources, the two deceased were the drivers of the bus, which was traveling from the eastern region towards Havana. Unofficially, the accident occurred when the driver fell asleep, which caused the bus to collide with the back of a harrow.
It has not emerged whether the bus was state-owned or leased to individuals.
Several passengers – 13 according to reports on the networks – suffered injuries as a result of the accident and were transferred to hospitals in Cienfuegos. In that group there were two minors with minor injuries.

Accidents in Cienfuegos
