The Committee for the Freedom of Political Prisoners denounced on Tuesday that at least 16 people, all detained for political reasons, are in prolonged isolation in their detention centers, a situation they called as a “form of torture.”

All are held at the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) known as El Helicoid, in Caracas. In the case of Freddy Superlano, on Wednesday, July 30, he celebrates a year of his arbitrary detention and isolation.
