At 49: Jason David Frank, known for playing the green and white Power Ranger, died by suicide

The American actor Jason David Frank, who was the person behind Tommy, the green Power Ranger, died this weekend at the age of 49 as a result of suicide, according to TMZ.

The death was confirmed by the actor Walter Emanuel Jones, Jason David’s partner in the mythical series of the nineties, through his Instagram account. “My heart is sad to have lost a member of our special family,” wrote the interpreter of the black Power Ranger.

Also mourning the passing of Mike Bronzoulis, Frank’s friend and personal trainer. “RIP my brother from another mother Jason David Frank. I’m still in shock. I feel terrible. (Frank) called me, left me a message, and it took me a long time to respond. Jason was a good friend to me and I will miss him. Love and prayers for his wife Tammie and his children, I hope God helps them through this difficult time, ”he wrote from his Facebook account.

For a few years, Frank suffered from depression, and during this year, he had separated from his wife Tammie.

In addition to his acting role, Jason David Frank worked as a UFC fighter.
