This Monday, the President of the Republic, Dina Boluartehe will pronounce his last message to the nation for Patrias Fiestas. According to the official program sent by the General Directorate of Protocol and Ceremonial of the State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its speech will begin at 11:10 am from the Legislative Palace, headquarters of the Congress of the Republic.
As recalled, the 2024 the president gave an extremely extensive speech, of more than 5 hours, in which she addressed different edges of her government management, but in which she did not land concrete proposals. It is estimated that this was one of the most extensive messages given by a head of state in the 21st century.
The day will start early. At 7:50 AM, Boluarte is expected to leave Government Palace to go to the Cathedral of Lima, where he will participate in the traditional solemn and te deum Mass. The religious ceremony will begin at 8 am and last an hour.
After that, the president will return to Pizarro’s house to wait for the Parliament’s announcement commission, which at 10:30 am will enter the ambassadors hall to formally invite the president to go to Congress to issue her message. Twenty minutes later Boluarte will leave the Government Palace towards Congress. It is not known if you will make the journey on foot or if you will address a vehicle. At 10:55 am it will be received with honors in Congress and the 11 am will begin the solemn session.
