Pedro Urruchurtu, who is seeking political asylum at the Argentine Embassy Residence in Caracas, reported on the night of Friday, September 6, that officials from the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) and the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (DAET) were patrolling outside the diplomatic headquarters.
“Sebin and DAET patrols, along with hooded and armed officials, surround and besiege the Argentine Residence in Caracas, under the custody and protection of the Brazilian government,” Urruchurtu wrote in X.

On July 30, the Argentine Foreign Ministry issued a release in which he condemned the harassment of his Embassy in Caracas – where six opponents linked to María Corina Machado are sheltered. On that occasion, they had left the residence without electricity.
