This is Daniel Daza, who on May 23 spoke for a news program in Ibaguer, his native land, about the situation of Mayor Andrés Hurtado, suspended for three months from his position by the Attorney General’s Office.

According to Daza’s prediction, the mayor was going to be reinstated in his post at the established time.

From the control body they admitted that the measure “did not disregard the principle of due process and neither did fundamental constitutional and/or conventional rights of the president, since the substantial and procedural assumptions were met, as well as the criteria of reasonableness and proportionality for impose the precautionary measure.
This is why Mayor Hurtado’s three-month sanction was lifted.
