Assembly ratifies Rutilio Villarreal as new director of IDAAN

With the majority support of the new Assembly, the National Water and Sewer Institute (IDAAN) will have engineer Rutilio Villarreal as the new executive director of this important institution for 5 years concurrent with the presidential term. Likewise, the vote was granted to the board of directors.

The deputies, who supported it with 59 votes in favor, one against and one abstention, in the supporting phase, stated that the new administration, which will govern the destiny of IDAAN, will face important challenges aimed at guaranteeing accessible and quality drinking water to the thousands of Panamanians who demand it.
