Mario Ruiz demanded in the plenary session that the Executive present evidence of the request for hospitals and cash by assembly members.
The National Assembly can’t get to consensus and overcome the disagreements that have deepened since February of this year, when amid shouts of “appeal”, Guadalupe Llori, president of that State function, suspended the session and left the plenary hall.
This March 29, 2022, the incidents in which shouts and accusations prevailed, and Llori suspended the call “due to lack of guarantees”.
The session It began with the request to change the order of the day to discuss a resolution that was tabled by Mario Ruiz (PK) to condemn and reject -he said- the “foolish” statements of President Guillermo Lasso against his co-ideators Édgar Quezada, Celestino Chumpi, Cristian Yucailla, Rosa Cerda and Gisella Molina.
It also asked the head of state to deliver the evidence and through his head of state bench file the complaint in Legislative Ethics Committee so that the investigation begins, and if the complaint is proven, the aforementioned legislators go home.

Later, Blasco Luna (UNES) requested the formation of a commission to evaluate the members of the Administrative Council of the Legislature (LIME) “because -he assured- this Assembly is in question.”
Llori argued that the creation of an evaluation commission in a resolution that was moved by Mario Ruiz, and he clarified that if this is the intention they have to request the change of the agenda “exclusively” to form the commission.
