The Association of Hotels and Tourism from the Dominican Republic (asonahores) formally entered the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC, for its acronym in English), thus becoming one of the first private associations to belong to the WTTC.
During the event, Julia Simpson, President & CEO of WTTC, highlighted the role played asonahores together with the authorities of the Dominican Republic to strengthen tourism.
Simpson welcomed the WTTC to asonahoreswhich becomes the first association of its kind in Latin America and the Caribbean, and which will now be a great ally for the development of travel and tourism to regional level and overall.
