The president of Asonameca, Francisco Mateo Minaya, highlighted that there are many obstacles and limitations for the sector to access financing from private banks. He advocated because Promipyme and Reserve Bank direct your loans to that sector.

He explained that a good example of what the sector can do is that they have successfully participated in the tenders for the kitchen furniture manufacturing for public schools.

He added, however, that metal mechanics constantly need credit, since they face challenges not only such as the purchase of machinery and equipment, but also for the purchase of raw materials whose prices right now are very high.

He said that although the sector has the Business CooperativeThey need state support, since they are very expensive machinery, but changing them will benefit the quality of the products and the substitution of imports.
