The Financial System Supervisory Authority (ASFI) instructed all banks to require a vaccination card from people who enter the entities since January 1.
The circular letter / ASFI / DNP / CC-12796/2021 of the regulatory entity indicates that according to Supreme Decree 4640 as of January 1, 2022, financial entities must comply with the biosafety and prevention measures determined by the Decree Supreme 4451 of January 13 of this year.
“For this purpose, financial entities will consider the provisions of article 4 of Decree 4641 of December 22, 2021, which requires, among other aspects, on the presentation of the vaccination card against coronavirus before the instances that require it, being able display this document physically or digitally.
The Association of Banks and Financial Entities of Bolivia (Asoban) reported yesterday that the presentation of the vaccination card or negative PCR test no more than 48 hours old will be controlled from Monday.
Airlines such as Boliviana de Aviación (BOA) and Ecojet reported that passengers must prove the vaccination certificate, or PCR test valid for 48 hours as of January 1.
