For his part, the 27-year-old currambero right-hander fielded several innings in his team’s victory and came out as the winner of the game.

“I didn’t know until the game was over and they told us, how nice to be part of that story,” Alfaro said excitedly in the Los Padres locker room.

In addition, he remembered his days as a child when they played with Nbail in Barranquilla and dreamed of one day reaching the Major Leagues.

For his part, Nabil commented that he is proud to have achieved this feat.

“It was a great pleasure and joy to have achieved this achievement,” said the Colombian pitcher.
