Arts and Crafts School receives donation from the United States Embassy

To improve the conditions in the classrooms, the Embassy of the United States in Panama donated 16 air conditioners and 6 water dispensers to the College of Arts and Crafts.

The Ministry of Education, the Embassy of the United States and the Southern Command have been generating cooperation in educational matters for more than 20 years, through the Humanitarian Assistance program with non-reimbursable funds.

The donation, valued at 25 thousand balboas, was made by the ambassador Mari Carmen Aponte and was received by the Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos; the director of the campus, Yira Boyd; along with students, who appreciated the gesture.
