Alberto “Beto” Barsotti Netto, a Brazilian native of Sao Paulo, but living in Paraguay for 30 years, was admitted to the hospital of the Social Welfare Institute (IPS) after entering with a stroke picture where he later suffered cardiorespiratory failure that led him into an induced coma.
Barsotti worked as an announcer, being for several years the main voice of the well-remembered 107.7 FM Concertcharacterized by the diffusion of jazz and blues music, as well as bossa nova and MPB (Brazilian popular music).
On the station, currently radio sevenBeto was driving “Cafe da Manha”in the mornings from Monday to Friday.
In addition to communication, the radio operator also participated in Paraguayan cinema, through feature films such as “Luna de cicadas” (2014), directed by Jorge Diaz de Bedoya and the multi-award winning “The heiresses” (2018), by Marcelo Martinessi.
Artists, journalists, communicators and listeners mourn the departure of someone who was a great promoter of artistic and cultural activities.
