An 84-year-old man shot and killed a 29-year-old woman. that threatened him with a knife to rob his house this Monday morning in Artigas, as reported to The Observer the Chief of Police of Artigas, Adolfo Cuello.
The incident occurred in a house Pintadito neighborhood of the city of Artigas, property of the man. The woman, in a street situation and with several background and investigations for robbery, theft and injurieswent to that home to ask the lord for moneyas reported by Telemundo (Channel 12).
As the man told authorities, when he refused, the woman pulled out a knife and threatened to steal it. After that, the person involved grabbed his weapon and responded to the attack with three shotsof which two hit the victimwho died on the spot.
After what happened, the man went to a police station, where he recounted his version of events and handed over his weapon. Police He went to the house and found the knife, as well as some scissors.
