The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce develops the 21st edition of Artbo – International Art Fair of Bogotá, which will take place from today until September 28, at the Agora Convention Center.
This cultural and commercial event is a reference for contemporary art and a space that connects artists, galleries, collectors and the general public with the international scene. Jaime Martínez, director of the Artbo program, highlighted the importance of this fair.

“We want to invite families to live Artbo. We have sections such as Artecámara, which makes it visible 21 emerging artists, and articulous, designed for family cultural activities. We also inaugurate this year the trajectory section, in alliance with Bauer, with a special tribute to teacher Beatriz González, ”he said.
On this occasion, The fair brings together 46 galleries from 18 cities in the world, with proposals from 180 artists and the support of 32 cultural institutions. To this are added more than 100 publishers, distributors and bookstores, which converts 9,345 m² of exhibition into a comprehensive platform for the circulation of creative goods and services.
One of the most prominent aspects of this edition is diversity: 43 % of the participating galleries are led by women, and the international presence includes countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Costa Rica, the United States and Guatemala, among others.
The public will find a predominance of contemporary art (81 %), together with proposals for modern art (17 %) and mixed manifestations (2 %), covered by painting and sculpture to photography, facilities and fabric.
The special guest program is consolidated as a business engine: More than 200 collectors, curators and museum directors will participate in 30 private meetings, In addition to specialized tours and visits to private collections, in order to promote transactions and strengthen commercial links.
