Arrested subject to assault your partner with a knife

The young woman (22) recorded with her cell phone what happened and subsequently sent it to an email she shared with her parent

The Public Ministry informed that Andrés Eloy Eloy Angulo (33) was arrested, for allegedly hitting his 22 -year -old partner, which occurred on September 30 in the La Herrereña sector in San Carlos, Cojedes state.

On the night of that day, the victim and her partner were in their residence when a discussion began between them, which culminated after hitting her and threatening her with a knife, the public body reviewed in a press release.

According to the investigation, during the fact, the young woman recorded with her cell phone what happened and, subsequently, sent it to an email that she shared with her parent.

The next day, the woman’s mother agreed to the audiovisual and noticed what happened with her daughter, so she denounced the event before regional police officers, who arrested the aggressor and made it available to the Public Ministry.

At the presentation hearing, representatives of the 7th Prosecutor’s Office of that jurisdiction charged Reyes Angulo for the crimes of aggravated physical violence, aggravated threat and psychological violence.

Once the elements of conviction exposed by the fiscal representation, the 2nd Cojedes Control Court issued the measure of deprivation of liberty against the man, who is held in the Command of the Regional Police of Cojedes.
