Arrested for sexually abusing a young man

The Zulia State Police Corps reported the capture of a man identified as José Gregorio Ramírez Delgado (38) for the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old teenager in the La Abuela de Cuatro Esquinas neighborhood, in the Carlos Quevedo parish of the Francisco Javier municipality. Pulgar, Zulia state.

According to the police report, Ramírez Delgado used deception to take the teenager to his home. At that time, he offered her the sum of one hundred US dollars with the intention that the minor perform sexual acts, specifically oral sex. The man recorded the act and later shared the images on social networks.

Given the alarming case, the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children and Adolescents was made aware of the event thanks to the intervention of the 16th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry, which has been in charge of activating the pertinent legal mechanisms.

The minor affected has received the necessary specialized care at the José Gregorio Hernández Hospital in the town, while the perpetrator remains in custody at the headquarters of the Francisco Javier Pulgar Police Coordination Center.
