The director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), Douglas Rico, reported the arrest of José Manuel Mujica Villaparedes (25) accused of committing fraud with the sale of vehicles in Ocumare del Tuy, Miranda state.
According to the publication made by Rico through his social networks, Cicpc officials carried out extensive investigative work to find this subject in the Tomás Lander municipality.
This man was dedicated to scamming vehicle purchase and sale transactions, he points out in his post.
It was learned that Mujica was dedicated to renting vehicles, which, once in his possession, falsified the documentation, making them look like his property. Then he located third parties and through deception exchanged vehicles and money in his favor. He subsequently marketed the vehicle received, thus harming 10 people to date.
During the capture, a Ford Explorer, license plate AE911VG, a Jeep Wrangler S. license plate AC931PS, a Ford Explorer, license plate AG784JA and two doubtful vehicle certificates were recovered.
This case was left in the hands of the Public Ministry for prosecution.
