Officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigation Corps (Cicpc) They arrested a 33-year-old man accused of physical and verbal violence against his motherin an event that occurred in the Simón Bolívar municipality, in the city of Barcelona, Anzoátegui state.
The arrested person was identified as José Daniel Bernaez González, who, according to investigations, carried out an attack inside the family home located in the Boyacá sector, El Carmen parish. According to the police report, The attack occurred after an argument motivated by the victim’s refusal to give him money.
Repeated attack on his mother in Barcelona
The authorities indicated that The man allegedly maintained a pattern of recurring violence against his mother, a 60-year-old woman.. On this occasion, the aggression escalated to a beating in which he caused visible bruises in different parts of his body.
After receiving the complaint and verifying the injuries, Cicpc officials proceeded to arrest the suspect and put him at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
The procedure was left to the order of the 24th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the state of Anzoátegui, which will continue with the investigations and determine the corresponding criminal responsibilities.
