Anthony Vega, Jhon Álvarez and Eleyn Echarry were charged with the crimes of: Aggravated Homicide in the Degree of Attempt, Personal Injury and Ganging
The Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, reported that he appointed the 9th National Prosecutor’s Office with jurisdiction in homicide matters and issued an arrest warrant against the subjects Anthony Vega, Jhon Álvarez and Eleyn Echarry, for the crimes of: Aggravated Homicide in the degree of attempted murder, personal injuries and ganging against the deputy of the Cambiemos party, Inacio Da Costa and the citizen Adrianlis Gil.
Through his social network X, prosecutor Saab detailed that this Monday, at the headquarters of the Prosecutor’s Office in charge of the investigation, the complaint filed by opposition deputy Inacio Da Costa who was attacked was expanded by an extremist group of the Vente Venezuela party during the night of 07/19/2024, in the UCV parking lot.
The victims were sent to the forensic medical service for medical evaluation “to record the serious injuries that were caused to them,” the post says.
According to the deputy Da Costa in the account of his social network in X, Vega managed to hit him (3) stab wounds in the arm and one in the back,
Saab also confirmed that statements were taken from eyewitnesses that demonstrated the involvement of the subjects under investigation in the incident.
“It was determined that Antony Vega, who uttered death threats against his victim, calling him a “scorpion” who he would not mind killing since he had already been incarcerated, is in fact an ex-convict who has been convicted of crimes of vehicle theft, illegal possession of a firearm and injuries,” said the prosecutor.
