The vice president of Communes and Social Movements of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Arreaza, considered that the more participation in the second popular consultation this Sunday, the more confidence and resources there will be for the communities.
“This is the true, participatory and leading democracy that the Constitution proposes and that our Commander Hugo Chávez left us,” said Arreaza during a telephone conversation with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
He also welcomed the participation of international observers, including those from the United States, to develop their own experience in their country based on the example of Venezuela.
It is worth noting that nearly 100 international observers are present in the country observing the development of the Second National Popular Consultation 2024, where organized communities will be able to choose the projects developed by them that will be financed by the State to improve their quality of life.
Arreaza took the opportunity to invite the population over 15 years of age to attend these votes to prioritize their projects and establish them in their communities.
