The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, described this Sunday as “decadent” the recent statements about Venezuela made by the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro.
Jorge Arreaza’s response comes after Luis Almagro issued a statement in which he claims that the Venezuelan government forced the “exile” of the far-right leader González Urrutia.
In a post published on his official account on the social network Telegram, Arreaza said that Almagro “has far surpassed the record of the OAS Sicario (Secretary) General most devoted to Washington’s orders and designs; and look, for a colonial ministry that record was very difficult to break.”
Arreaza recalled that since 2015 the OAS has done nothing but attack Venezuelan democracy and institutions, promote coups d’état, sanctions, military invasion, violence, destabilization, migration and death.
“The positive side is that you have been instrumental in the complete delegitimization of the OAS and both of you will become dirty company in the dustbin of history,” said Arreaza.
