Santo Domingo.- The executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewage (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, toured the provinces of San José de Ocoa, Sánchez Ramírez and Duarte supervising the works in progress and was able to verify that they are progressing satisfactorily.
During his visit to Ocoa, the official observed that the works of the San José de Ocoa-Sabana Larga Multiple Aqueduct are going full steam ahead, with a view to ensuring that each of the homes in this province has a drinking water service, in quantity, quality and pressure, in November of next year.
“I am pleased to see that the work on this project is progressing at a good pace and that the anguish that its residents have suffered for decades will be a thing of the past thanks to the fact that our president Luis Abinader is committed to providing drinking water to every Dominican home. », he expressed.
Arnaud was also in the Sánchez Ramírez and Duarte provinces, supervising the construction work on the large cistern that will supply the communities of Las Guáranas, Angelina, El Pescozón and Cuca with liquid; where the citizens of it, for decades, have waited for an efficient drinking water system.
This work will have an approximate investment of more than 100 million pesos and will have a capacity of more than one million gallons of water, with which the historical problem of the service will be solved.
“We are working to deliver this work in the month of December, God willing,” he specified.
During the tours, the executive director was accompanied by local authorities and part of the institution’s technical team.
