The Army confirmed that personnel from the institution found the lifeless bodies of the two soldiers who had been missing in the Puntiagudo Volcano, Los Lagos region, since last weekend.
As stated radio dna, Alexander Vergues, regional director of Onemi Los Lagos specified that the discovery was made at approximately 4:30 p.m., in the western part of the volcano, at an altitude of 1,700 meters. Previously, rescuers had searched the place without success, but with the melting of the snow, a helicopter overflight managed to spot the bodies.
