The detainees are Geraldo Brutus, Yvon Romilus, Jean lysse Fresnaider, Louvens Louis, Rubbens Louis and Felix Jeans, according to authorities.
“Through an operation carried out by a military patrol, made up of members of the S-2 of the Army Intelligence Directorate, six Haitians without a residence document in the country were detained in the municipal district of La Colonia, in Duvergé, Independencia province. who are presumed to be wanted by the authorities of their country,” the report says.
These are suspected of being members of Haitian armed gangs and linked to the deaths of police officers in Haiti.
