An armed robbery was recorded on the afternoon of this Wednesday, October 12, in a jewelry store located on Samuel Lewis Avenue, corner of Calle 56, in Obarrio. This is Brilat jewelry, specialists in personalized jewelry and diamonds.
According to the National Police, five assailants entered the establishment, three of them dressed in Muslim attire and the other two from the Cleanliness Authority, and took his firearm from the security agent who was guarding the entrance of the commercial premises perpetrating the assault.
So far no details have been given of the amount of jewelry or cash that was stolen from the jewelry store. Meanwhile, the National Police, assured on its Twitter account, that it maintains “operational actions in the Obarrio sector, to find those responsible” for this robbery.
It is worth mentioning that on October 10 a branch of the Savings Bank was also robbed at gunpoint and so far no details have been given of any capture for this fact.
