A offender armed entered the house of the secretary of the Presidency, Alvaro Delgadoin the Carrasco neighborhood, and stole several belongings from the home, according to Underlined and confirmed The Observer with sources from the Ministry of the Interior.
the event occurred in the early hours of this sunday when the man entered the house by breaking a gate and entering through a window. The family was inside, and although the individual threatened to shoot, in the end there were no injuries.
The criminal escaped from the scene with several items, but was captured minutes later in Carrasco Norte, after being identified by the Police. Several objects that were stolen were recovered, including some documents.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, the 30-year-old individual has “multiple criminal records” and is already available to the Prosecutor’s Office. He is expected to testify this Monday, where it could be formalized.
