Armed brands take 20 thousand soles from a woman in Satipo

At noon yesterday, two armed criminals snatched a backpack with a large amount of money from a woman who was in a bank agent, a few meters from the main square of San Martín de Pangoa, in Satipo.

The incident occurred on the fifth block of 28 de Julio street, in the Joselito winery, where a BCP agent works, a point where the victim arrived with about 20,000 soles that he had withdrawn from a nearby bank. She apparently was followed by the criminals.

They arrive by motorcycle

According to witnesses, the “brands” arrived aboard a linear motorcycle and, to intimidate the woman, they fired a shot that almost hit a neighbor who was nearby.

Having the loot in their hands, the thugs fled without a known destination.

After the robbery, the police arrived to start the relevant investigations. For now, they reviewed the security cameras in the area to identify the thugs.
