Armed attack left a minor dead and three others injured

The murder took place in the living room of a house in the Popular Bastion sector, in Guayaquil. The Police explained that the case would have to do with drug trafficking.

Preliminary research indicates that two men on a motorcycle came to the outskirts of a house in Bastion Popular, in the south of Guayaquil. One of them took out a pistol, put his hand through the window of a house and began to shoot. Inside were four minors. One of them died.

The mortal victim has 15 years. The teenager was in the living room of the house in the company of other people, when a bullet hit his head. The Police provided details this Saturday December 25, 2021 and indicated that the causes of the attack are being investigated and the suspects are traced.

The Guayaquil Police Commander, Fausto Buenaño, informed LA HORA that the violent incident occurred this Thursday, December 23, 2021, around 7:00 p.m. The house is located in block 4 of Bastion Popular.

In addition to the murdered adolescent, the shots hit another teenager of 17 and two girls of 7 and 1 year, who receive medical care.

The hypotheses used by the Police is that eThe attack is related to micro-trafficking. The 17-year-old’s mother had been released from jail six months earlier. She paid a retail drug conviction. He had other arrests for the same crime. (DPV)
