Ariel Muñoz from SITIESPA: “There is something to pay mutual agreements but not to approve salary adjustments”

Ariel Muñoz, secretary of the Electrical and Similar Industry Workers Union, spoke about the mutual agreement that existed to liquidate the manager of ETESA Carlos Mosquera and the lack of money to approve the salary adjustments of the employees of the electrical industry.

It ensures that charges for defined periods cannot be given by mutual agreement. He said that Carlos Mosquera has a salary of 14 thousand dollars and a representation expense of 2 thousand so this mutual agreement was not necessary.

He said that the salary adjustment clause for workers where there are employees who are below the minimum wage has not been negotiated. “This is not in keeping with a sector where there is so much income,”

He pointed out that the salary adjustment at Etesa is 3% and is not enough and that the company claims that there is no money but for the mutual agreements with the directors there is enough to pay close to a million dollars.
