As for the applicants, the names of at least six people have already been mentioned to occupy the Ombudsman’s office, among them are: María Galindo, from Mujeres Creando; Jesús Vera, from the MAS Fejuve, who said that he analyzes it; Lidia Patty, former deputy of the MAS; José María Cabrera, former prosecutor, who said that he is preparing his nomination; Manuel Morales, from Conade, who also confirmed his candidacy; and Roberto de la Cruz. The current interim defender Nadia Cruz said that she is not of interest to her “at this time.”
