Ari mobile | European Union promotes cultural exchange through educational fair

With exhibitions, forums and stands, countries of the European Union facilitate information on opportunities for study in this continent


Last Saturday the Mobile ARI of the Rebelde Research Alliance was present at the 8th edition of the European Educational Fair in the facilities of the Modern Art Cultural Center. Representations of Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Portugal presented their different proposals for student exchange, undergraduate careers, specialization and doctorate.

Ginett Angulo, Fair program officer climbed into the information truck of The whistle, Runrunes and SuchWhich to talk about the scholarship opportunities offered by the European Union with its program of Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus +.

The program officer reported that in addition to presenting offers to university students, in this edition the scholarships of Erasmus, give training opportunities to teaching and administrative personnel. “Erasmus also provides the opportunity for teaching, administrative and technical personnel to make a short -term exchange, under the umbrella of their university, to go to one or several European universities.”

Finally, Angulo highlighted the opportunities program for Erasmus + Aimed at Venezuelan, public or private universities, where they can present structural projects, modernization or equipment to contribute to improve education in these houses.

  • Germany: The cultural aggregate of Germany, Johannes Van Der Vegt, reported in the mobile ARI that undergraduate and postgraduate students can study in this country and can opt for scholarships through their German academic exchange service Daad,
  • France: Stephan Freychet, an university aggregate of the embassy revealed that the academic offers of this country “range from undergraduate to postdoctoral in any area of ​​knowledge.” Likewise, he indicated that one of the important requirements for any student to opt for a study program in this European country is to take at least one basic level of French offered by the French Alliance of Caracas.
  • Greece: Representatives of the Greek Cultural Center reported that more than 24 universities in this country are part of the different education for students. Likewise, they stressed that one of the attractions of opportunities in Greece is that students are not limited to receiving their training in Greek, but that if they prefer they can receive it in English.
  • Poland: Oscar Villanueva, press and culture specialist shared details about the Nawa scholarshipsdestined for descendants of Poles. In the same way they offer completely covered scholarships for people who wish to conduct doctoral or research studies. Finally, Villanueva spoke about the ease of learning the Polish language and culture from summer courses aimed mainly at students.
  • Portugal: The Portuguese Teaching Coordinator of the Portugal Embassy, ​​Rainner Sousa, highlighted the system of revalidation of both high school and university degrees offered by the embassy. He also reported on Portuguese language certifications for children and over 18 years of age who wish to study undergraduate in universities in this country.
