Argentine President says there are no problems with the plane held in Ezeiza

In Argentina there is a controversy over a plane from the Venezuelan airline Emtrasur that it has an Iranian crew and that it has been held since June 8 in the Buenos Aires Ezeiza Airport.

Some of the crew have been linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and entities sanctioned by USA. even the Security Minister Anibal Fernandez had pointed out that one of the crew had the status of namesake with one of the senior members of the Al Quds Forces.

The President Albert Fernandez now he pointed out that there is no irregularity other than a gasoline loading problem due to US sanctions. Those sanctions are the Iranian airline Mahan Air, to which the plane previously belonged, and could cause problems for those who receive the fuel.

“They wanted to show something that is not, something dark, some dark government move or link it to terrorism. But hey, as it is the opposition, they tried to take advantage of it”, said the president, affirming that there are no problems and that have increased the situation.

The president affirmed that they are trying to solve that problem while the crew is subjected to a judicial investigation and cannot leave the country.
