The Argentine Nicolás Ramírez will be the central referee of the match that Bolivia must play against Ecuador, on November 14. This match, corresponding to the eleventh date of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, will be played at the Pichincha stadium in the city of Guayaquil, starting at 8:00 p.m. (HB).
Ramírez, born in González Catán, in the province of Buenos Aires, will turn 38 years old on November 18, four days after the match between Ecuadorians and Bolivians, in which he will debut in the Qualifiers.
The entire referee team for this clash between La Tri and La Verde will be in charge of Argentine professionals, according to the designation made by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol).
Ramírez’s line assistants will be Ezequiel Brailovsky and Gabriel Chávez, while Fernando Espinoza will serve as fourth referee. Silvio Trucco will be responsible for the VAR and Nicolás Lamolina, for the AVAR.
Bolivia’s next match will be against Paraguay on Tuesday, November 19, for the twelfth round of the pre-World Cup stage. This match will take place at the Villa Ingenio Municipal Stadium in the city of El Alto, starting at 4:00 p.m.
In that meeting, the person in charge of dispensing justice will be the Uruguayan Andrés Matonte, who will be assisted on the wings by his compatriots Nicolás Tarán and Martín Soppi.
Matonte, 36, in addition to dedicating himself to refereeing, is also a physical education teacher in his country.
The fourth referee will be José Burgos, the VAR will be Leodán González and the AVAR person in charge will be Richard Trinidad.
