The River Plate youth team centre-back Leandro Peña will play on loan next season at the Elcheaccording to several Argentine media outlets. The Argentine club intends to loan the defender so that he can get quality minutes in the Spanish competition.
The 21-year-old is the captain of River Plate’s reserve team, although he has not yet had the opportunity to debut with the first team. Elche, which has only made one signing so far, is short of players in the centre of defence after the departure of Diego Gonzalez and David Lopez.
