Emtrasur plane case in Argentina: kidnapping or justified action?

Argentine justice released two other crew members of the Emtrasur plane

The Argentine justice released two other crew members of the Venezuelan plane of the Aerocargo del Sur Transport Company, Emtrasur, which has been kidnapped in that country since last June, reported Latin Press.

With them, there are 14 Emtrasur plane crew members acquitted of all guilt, “declared innocent” and dismissed by Judge Federico Villena in the legal cases that were opened, reported on Twitter this Wednesday the Embassy of Venezuela in Argentina.

The magistrate of the Federal Criminal and Correctional Court of Lomas de Zamora ratified the measure to lift the ban on Venezuelan José García and Iranian Mohammad Khosraviaragh leaving the country.

The diplomatic headquarters indicated that by dismissing the case against the 14 members of the plane’s crew, “… the formation of this process does not affect the good name and honor that they would have enjoyed…”.

He pointed out that there are five crew members “unfairly held in Argentina”, who are innocent and will soon return to their countries, “because the truth always wins,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Boeing 747-300 aircraft has also been held at the Ezeiza International Airport since June 8.

tireless fight

As will be recalled, a first group of 12 crew members of the Emtrasur plane returned to Venezuela on September 16, after his release.

The transport minister, Ramón Velázquez Araguayán, welcomed the crew of 11 Venezuelans and one Iranian at the Simón Bolívar international airport in Maiquetía, after the Federal Court of Appeals of La Plata ordered their release on September 13.

The Bolivarian Government has fought tirelessly for the release of the Emtrasur plane and crew, the minister said on that occasion, adding that “we will continue to fight until the ship is recovered.”

National authorities, personalities and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty described the detention of the Venezuelan plane as illegal.
