The Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, Omar García Harfuch, gave the first details of the investigation and reported that the aggressor has already been arrested, so the pertinent inquiries will proceed in the following hours.
“In a restaurant in the Del Valle neighborhood in Benito Juárez City Hall, a man shot his wife three times, he is already in custody,” the official wrote through his social networks, later adding that the people arrested had been the alleged aggressor and his driver.
According to the first reports, the riddled person is a 21-year-old woman, who would have received three bullet wounds in the chest and who, in the absence of official confirmation, lost her life inside the building.
The identified aggressor is Jesús “N”, a 79-year-old lawyer who apparently arrived at the establishment in a black BMW car, which has already been seized. The person involved was arrested by elements of the Banking and Industrial Police (PBI) and the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) together with his escort-driver with whom he would have tried to flee.
Inside the restaurant, at least 50 elements of the SSC arrived together with capital experts to evaluate the incident and start the investigations around the alleged femicide, which would have occurred around 9:00 p.m.
According to the statement issued by the SSC, “the events occurred when the PBI personnel carried out security actions in the area and were alerted by the diners of an establishment, of a report of detonations inside the site, by which, with the precautions of the case, they moved to the point ”.

When the officers arrived, they requested the pertinent medical services, who found the victim lying down and without vital signs due to the wounds caused by the firearm.
